Shipping Questions

DrySee proudly ships all items from the USA, and we do our absolute best to get all orders processed within 3 business days of being ordered. We’re also real people, not bots, and would be happy to chat with you—just hit us up through the contact form on our website.

The Shipping Real Real

We get it, you want your awesome new stuff freaky fast. Our goal is to deliver on your high and unrealistic expectations.

Once your order has been processed, please understand that it may take 5–12 business days to arrive. GASP!

Remember, we’re a small and mighty brand, and we don’t have the 1.2 million employees that Amazon has, so do your best not to compare us to a founder who has enough money to eat through osmosis and fly himself into outer space :)

Why That?

We try our best to process your order within 3 business days of receiving it.

Business days mean we don’t make our team work on weekends or holidays. So, if you didn’t see your postman today, you probably won’t see the DrySee team stuffing boxes either. They deserve a day off occasionally.

Then, most of you are cheap—like us—and choose standard shipping. We don’t blame you for your frugality. And no shade to Uncle Sam, but have you seen how slowly those four-wheeled white go-kart-looking things drive?

After processing, shipping normally takes 5–12 business days.

I Paid for 2-Day Shipping and It’s Been 47¼ Hours. Where’s My Sh!T?!

This one wasn’t discussed in high school economics, but it damn well should’ve been.

Two-day shipping doesn’t mean your DrySee order makes its way from you pushing a button, to our warehouse, to your doorstep in two days.

It’s simply the promise the shipping carrier makes from the time they receive your order from us to the time they really hope it will get to you.

Refer to the paragraph above where we said we process orders within 3 business days.

I know this is now basically entering algebraic-equation territory, but:

3 business days + 2-day shipping + carrier chaos = sometimes more than 2 days.

I Entered the Wrong Address. Can I Have a Refund?

Now, we know this mistake feels like a butt dial that you can just write off as one too many mimosas at brunch.

Unfortunately, for small businesses like DrySee, it’s not so simple, so the answer is generally no once the order has been processed or shipped.

In this case, we would have sent a product we paid for, in a box we paid for, packed by people we employ, with postage fees we were charged.

If anyone has a suggestion for how to offset those costs—maybe set up a GoFundMe or something—we would be happy to hear it.

Until then, we must hold each other accountable for our actions. Sometimes this hurts, but we’ll get through it together.

Any failed-delivery orders will be refunded to the original payment method once the item has been received back at our warehouse. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Contact us through the website contact form as quickly as possible if you notice an address mistake.

My Tracking Says Nothing or Claims My Order Is in Puerto Rico

We know we just met, but this is where we’re going to ask you to complete a trust fall.

Shipping-carrier tracking systems may say they’re still awaiting receipt of an item for days after they actually received it. They may also say your item is somewhere completely unexpected or travelling in the wrong direction.

Trust us, your stuff will usually arrive, it may make absolutely no sense, and we have never received a good explanation for why this happens.

Trust that we’re working as quickly and safely as possible to get your DrySee order to you.

If it has been more than 12 business days after your order finished processing and you still don’t have it, please contact us through the contact form on our website.

Can You Refund My Shipping?

I bet you’ve heard the expression: you can’t put toothpaste back in the tube.

In brief: nope.

If DrySee messed up, we’ll take responsibility for the appropriate shipping costs.

If a third-party carrier fumbles the ball, a shopper develops buyer’s remorse, or someone who received their awesome DrySee product decides they also want their original shipping costs refunded, we suggest asking the local mailman for a five-dollar bill and seeing whether they have better luck there ;)
